For the question of if you should color this my answer would be NO!! But thats just me, its hard to get detail this awesome and still have it show up with color and the color brings a whole new dimension of visual focus that would take away from the great linear quality that this drawing has.

You don't *need* acid...that's good Lovely work.
If u colour it, I think it shouldn't be in more than 3 colours of the same group...something like blue/green or red/orange...otherwise it might get too confusing.
You have some wonderful things happening with textures - of particular note is that long, luxurious hair on the central character.
However, one of the drawbacks to "acid-inspired" pictures is that there's ususally such a surplus of stuff in the background that it's hard to tell what's going on. I think that if you colored this picture, that would help us to make some sense of everything that's going on in here.

very nice picture. if you wanted you could highlight things in a very limited palette. it keeps the dynamic appeal of using black and white but you can satisfy that urge for distinction if youre worried about losing shapes like rachael said. but great piece.
